Blarney Castle is a lovely old ruin on the outskirts of Cork. It contains the legendary "Blarney Stone" which if kissed supposedly bestows the "gift of the gab" on the recipient. The castle is situated in beautiful natural grounds that show off the Irish landscape to the full.
This girl is leaning out to kiss the stone. We didn't actually do this as there was a two-hour queue to get to the top:
